Noah's Ark Hotel & Resort always takes the safety and health of our guests and employees as the top priority and strictly implements various precautionary measures. Each of our guest rooms is awarded with HKQAA Anti-Epidemic Hygiene Measures Certification and equipped with spacious deck and individually controlled air-conditioning system to bring a safer and healthier living environment.

In response to the latest situation of Covid-19 and align with the latest epidemic prevention regulations, we will implement the following special precautionary measures:

According to Hong Kong Government’s announcement, effective from 24 February 2022, the “Vaccine Pass” will be applicable to Noah’s Ark theme park areas, Harvest Restaurant and Noah’s Kitchen. All guests aged 12 or above must present relevant QR code of Vaccination Record/Exemption Certificate for scanning upon entry if to enter Noah’s Ark theme park areas, Harvest Restaurant and Noah’s Kitchen. Persons without relevant QR code are required to fill in specified form. The persons previously infected with COVID-19 (recovered persons) may carry with them or present a valid recovery record QR code as a substitute for the vaccination record.

All guests except the individuals specified in the ordinance shall comply with all conditions as set out under the regulation of HKSAR Government regarding the use of “LeaveHomeSafe” (LHS) to scan the venue QR code upon entry. Three categories of the individuals may fill in a specified form which includes the name, contact number, visitation date and time as an alternative to the use of the specific app. They are people aged 65 or above and aged 15 or below, people with disability and those recognized by the Government or organizations authorized by the Government. Guests aged 15 or below would not have to register his or her personal information using the specified form if he or she is accompanied by an adult who has complied with the “LeaveHomeSafe” requirement. The maximum number of persons in every guest room may change subject to any updates on Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation implemented by the Government.

In addition, to ensure the safety of our staff and current guests, the hotel does not accept guests who:

• Is booking for any special purpose (Including but not limited to: self-quarantine, self-monitor for the subsequent, the persons who are under exemptions mandatory quarantine, compulsory testing or “StayHomeSafe” scheme)

• Under the HK Government’s compulsory quarantine order, or who have been in close contact with anyone who is currently under this order

• Is exempt from a compulsory quarantine but has visited other countries/territories in past 21 days before the arrival date

• In the past 21 days, have stayed at the premises or same building there have been diagnosed of COVID-19

• In the past 21 days, have been in close contact with someone who is a diagnosed /suspected confirmed case / identified as close contact person

• In the past 21 days, have stayed at the premises within the area(s) under compulsory testing scheme

With a view to reducing the contact of the above-mentioned people with our guests, all guests are requested to fill in a health declaration form and provide residential address proof while checking in to ensure all guest information provided is true and updated. In the absence of address proof, the hotel may:

• Decline guests check in; or

• The guest can contact our front office staff to present the circumstances, a form will be provided on declaration for residential address

The hotel reserves the right to seek all remedies available by law for any false statement.

To further protect the health of employees and guests and prevent potential risks of infection, we have established the following corresponding policies and procedures:

• If any family members of staff are diagnosed with COVID-19, and the staff who listed as a close contact will stay at home and conduct testing as instructed. In the meantime, the hotel will provide assistance to the staff, such as distribute rapid antigen test kit;

• If any staff is diagnosed, all close contacts of the staff will be asked to stay at home and apply formal testing, negative results are required before back to work;

• Comprehensive disinfection will be applied in the hotel area

Above arrangement may change subject to any changes on Prevention and Control of Disease Regulation implemented by the Government without notice.

Noah’s Ark Hotel & Resort will review the situation on regular basis and reserves the right of final decision in case of any disputes.
